This course is designed to introduce incoming first-year students to the science of learning during a pandemic, including how to successfully gain knowledge within higher education’s structures (including online learning platforms),
critically engage with college-level material and develop personal success strategies to persist in college.

The goal of this asynchronous online course is to bring the perspectives of several different disciplines together and understand the COVID-19 pandemic in a new way that would be impossible in any singular discipline. As such, this course
will be taught by 23 faculty from across the university.
This course is designed to prepare pre-service teachers to meet the challenges of teaching K-12 students online. Students will learn about best practices in online pedagogy and tools to assist them in delivering quality online instruction.
Admission to teacher education required.
Medical terminology is the study of the words used to describe the human body. This course helps you learn the proper terminology for major diseases and pathological conditions, as well as each organ system of the body. Nursing and Pre-Nursing
students are restricted from taking this course.
